The heart of this update is series of enhancements and modifications to Group Ironman . The ability to teleport directly to the home of your teammate by using the Teleport to House spell. This spell has two new options, groups: choose and previous.
The first one lets you choose which group to teleport to and the second one takes you to the last place you visited. There are prerequisites for this to work , including that the owner of the house is on the same world as you , and isn't in Build mode. Every player can go into house owned by a player which is unlocked and do not have private settings enabled. This only applies when you're friends with the owner.
Group Ironman also gets a storage expansion option that is made available upon completion of certain tasks. The interface for storage for groups has an updated version with the option to click to pull up the list of tasks you can complete that will allow you to expand the storage size of the group. They will be a group-wide task, so they will track. Some of the suggestions were to set up the Rune Platebody or to meet various amounts of points goals.
Death piles' changes in Ultimate Ironman were proposed back in December, and now the community has spoken. Comments on the changes were positive for the most part but some users expressed concern about memory space since when there is too many items on a single tile the world will begin deleting the ones that are not stable to keep them. The team has stated with this announcement that objects will remain in their own list when deaths happen because player deaths will be on the save for the player and not the world save.
